What is stress?
We hear the term stress used a lot but what does it mean and why is it an issue? Stress isn't necessarily a bad thing, it is the body's reaction to feeling threatened or under pressure. It's very common, can be motivating to help us achieve things in our daily life, and can help us meet the demands of home, work and family life.
But too much stress can affect our mood, our body, our relationships and, in time, our health – especially when it feels out of our control. It can make us feel anxious and irritable, and affect our self-esteem.
Experiencing a lot of stress over a long period of time can leave us feeling exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally exhaustion.
Whilst we can't always change the situation we are in, we can adapt how we react to it by taking care of ourselves and increasing our resilience to the stressors.
Stress management at Dancing in the Rain
There are many things that affect our resilience to stress and we all have our own unique situation. At Dancing in the Rain, we believe your Stress Management Course should be unique to you.
We offer a four week course that is designed with you in mind. You will learn how to use EFT as a relaxation tool and together we will look at past issues that may be affecting your responses to stress today. After each session, you will receive a relaxation audio that you can use between sessions (and beyond) to help you to increase your resilience.
This four week course, 90 minutes each session, is £210 (including audios).
Further EFT sessions can be purchased at £50 for a 90 minute session, if you feel you would like to do further work.
