Managing our weight can sometimes be tricky and can often seen as confusing. There are so many conflicting messages in the media and well meaning people who share their 'incredible' stories of weight loss; this can leave us feeling overwhelmed and inadequate.

In reality, we know, weight loss occurs when we burn more calories than we consume, so why is it so tricky?

I believe we struggle to manage our weight, not because we don't know what to do but because there are competing influences on our lives that take priority whether we mean them to or not.

For example, there are some who are too busy working and /or taking care of others, and they don't prioritise themselves. For others, they are so exhausted, either by lack of sleep, stress, negative emotions or over work they are looking for energy and will eat the energy dense food to feel better.

Everyone is different and will have their own unique experience, therefore it is important that any weight loss attempt not only follows sound nutritional information from the Department of Health/NHS but includes a support package that is unique to them - that's where Dancing in the Rain comes in.

Dancing in the Rain offers a weight management package that is shaped to your needs, we start of with an initial consultation to look at where you currently are, the sort of things you have tried in the past, what worked for you, what didn't, what you liked and what you didn't. We will explore some of the emotions that may sit behind the reasons you eat and use EFT/tapping to help you overcome those negative emotions.
